Materials: Worsted Weight, approximately 230 (260) yards.
Gauge: 18 stitches = 4" in stockinette stitch with a single strand of yarn and smaller needles
Needles: US 7 -16" and US 9 - 16" circular and US 7 DPNs. A 24" circular may be used for main part of beret after the first few rounds.

This is a slightly oversized beret, with additional instructions included to make a traditional beret that is 11" in diameter.
