Needles: Straight needle size necessary to obtain gauge.  16" circular for crew & v-neck pullover.

This basic pattern is meant to be a starting point for your own creativity in making kid's sweaters.  Though the pattern specifies K2P2 ribbing, you can substitute any other edging like a simple garter stitch border.  Add cables or lace patterns instead of stockinette.

For a vest, do any of the sweaters without the sleeves and add an edging.
